📚🐍 What a fantastic turnout for the Tripp Family Book Club, where 80 people attended.
Students listened to Hidden Animal Colors by Jane Park and explored the fascinating world of animal camouflage and mimicry. 🌿🦋
Thank you to the Lake County Forest Preserve for an engaging presentation filled with amazing pictures, real animal specimens, and even a special guest… a live fox snake! 🦊🐍 (Don’t worry, it was friendly!) And of course, a special shoutout to Mrs. Goldstein for hosting another successful evening for families.
Thanks to everyone who came out for a night of learning and fun!

It's time for another round of staff trivia! Which of these staff members has a piece of the Berlin Wall that they got from the wall in West Berlin back in 1991?
Is it Ms. Stephen’s, Ms. Nudelman, Ms. Srisairam, or Ms. Kumari?

Mrs. Fiasche’s early childhood class met their reading buddies from Mrs. Kim’s 4th grade class! They asked fun questions like “What’s your favorite color?” and “What’s your favorite food?” to get to know each other. The day ended with some fun table toy activities! 🧸

Thank you to Dr. Sostak for making dreams come true! 🌟 Thanks to her support, our early childhood students will now have access to Vox books through grant funding! 📚✨ Vox Books are interactive, audio-enabled books that bring stories to life with read-aloud narration, helping to develop literacy skills and inspire a love for reading. These books will be available in the library for students to check out and enjoy at home and school. 📖🎧 We’re so grateful for Dr. Sostak’s dedication to empowering our young learners! 🙌

This week, our students explored the power of words with the book "Martin’s Big Words" by Doreen Rappaport. They brainstormed "Power Words," discussed what it means to be a "Peaceful Warrior," and created illustrated posters showcasing inspiring words.
These posters will soon decorate our hallways as a reminder of how words can shape a better world.

Reminder! Monday, January 20 is a non-attendance day. Schools and offices will be closed.

Third-grade students at Pritchett have been busy preparing for an amazing year ahead! After reading One Word for Kids, they each chose a word to focus on for 2025.
