We had some paws-itively amazing visitors from Lincolnshire Animal Hospital Therapy Dogs! ๐ถ These gentle, furry friends spent time with our students, calmly sitting and listening as they read aloud and engaged in heartwarming interactions.
It was a tail-wagging good time that left everyone smiling and feeling a little lighter. ๐
Did you know? ๐โจ D102 has its very own therapy dog program, and you can be part of it! All community members are welcome to join. To learn more, attend our informational meetings via Zoom this Thursday and next Tuesday at 7:00 P.M. Join Mrs. Fasuna to discover how your dog can join D102โs Homegrown Therapy Dog program, the training process, and the amazing benefits of therapy dogs!
Letโs spread even more joy with our four-legged friends! ๐๐พ

This week, our students explored the power of words with the book "Martinโs Big Words" by Doreen Rappaport. They brainstormed "Power Words," discussed what it means to be a "Peaceful Warrior," and created illustrated posters showcasing inspiring words.
These posters will soon decorate our hallways as a reminder of how words can shape a better world.

Reminder! Monday, January 20 is a non-attendance day. Schools and offices will be closed.

Third-grade students at Pritchett have been busy preparing for an amazing year ahead! After reading One Word for Kids, they each chose a word to focus on for 2025. To bring their intentions to life, they completed adorable winter bear crafts, wrote their focus word, and shared thoughtful descriptions of why they chose it.

Yesterday, Dr. McIntyre stepped into the new year in style with custom D102 sneakers, a thoughtful gift from our talented Assistant Superintendent of Learning and Growth, Dr. Sostak! ๐๐
The day was more than just a fashion statementโit was an opportunity for staff to come together, dive deeper into data and assessments, and strengthen our commitment to meeting the needs of every student.
