This week, our students explored the power of words with the book "Martinโ€™s Big Words" by Doreen Rappaport. They brainstormed "Power Words," discussed what it means to be a "Peaceful Warrior," and created illustrated posters showcasing inspiring words. These posters will soon decorate our hallways as a reminder of how words can shape a better world.

๐Ÿ’› Happy #WorldKindnessDay! Today, our students and staff came together across the district to celebrate kindness by wearing their brightest yellow! ๐ŸŒž Each letter in YELLOW represents a key part of what kindness is all about: โœจ Y is for Youโ€”kindness starts with each of us. โœจ E is for Engageโ€”connecting with others with an open heart. โœจ L is for Listenโ€”taking time to truly hear one another. โœจ L is for Learnโ€”about one other. โœจ O is for Offerโ€”lending a hand whenever we can. โœจ W is for Weโ€”because kindness is something we build together. By wearing yellow, weโ€™re raising awareness that kindness can brighten our community. ๐ŸŒผ Be nice. Be kind. Be yellow. ๐Ÿ’› #BeYellow #KindnessDay #ChooseKindness
