This week, our students explored the power of words with the book "Martinโs Big Words" by Doreen Rappaport. They brainstormed "Power Words," discussed what it means to be a "Peaceful Warrior," and created illustrated posters showcasing inspiring words.
These posters will soon decorate our hallways as a reminder of how words can shape a better world.

Reminder! Monday, January 20 is a non-attendance day. Schools and offices will be closed.

Third-grade students at Pritchett have been busy preparing for an amazing year ahead! After reading One Word for Kids, they each chose a word to focus on for 2025. To bring their intentions to life, they completed adorable winter bear crafts, wrote their focus word, and shared thoughtful descriptions of why they chose it.

Yesterday, Dr. McIntyre stepped into the new year in style with custom D102 sneakers, a thoughtful gift from our talented Assistant Superintendent of Learning and Growth, Dr. Sostak! ๐๐
The day was more than just a fashion statementโit was an opportunity for staff to come together, dive deeper into data and assessments, and strengthen our commitment to meeting the needs of every student.
