As we conclude Principal Appreciation Month, we want to thank our principals for their leadership in our district! We see their work in action in so many ways, supporting students, serving as instructional leaders, and managing our schools every day. We are grateful for their dedication to our students, staff, and families and the important role they play in the success of our school community.

Fourth-grade students in Mr. Seegert's class conducted an erosion experiment. The activity tied to their unit of study on landforms, which studied the makeup of soil, physical and chemical weathering, and landforms.
Today, students took on roles such as recorder, timekeeper, and encourager to help support the activity. Mr. Seegert created various scenarios with different levels of sediment and water to simulate the effects of a flood. In the end, students understood that land made of stronger root systems will best hold up to floods.
