At the May 12 D102 Board of Education meeting, the new Board was sworn into office. New Board members Laurie Kuriakose and Anthony Q. Lee along with re-elected Board members Jordan Sklansky and Pelleg Graupe, were officially sworn in by the Honorable Marnie Slavin, a proud D102 alum. State Representative Daniel Didech also attended to express his gratitude and best wishes to outgoing Board members Deepa Ajmire and Vera Gaskill for their dedicated service to D102.
Additionally, the newly sworn in Board voted on its officers. Board members selected Jordan Sklansky to continue serving as Board President, Pelleg Graupe to continue serving as Board Vice President and Melissa Rose to serve as Board Secretary.
The evening was a celebration of leadership, service, and the continued commitment to the success of District 102 students.
