Minor injuries that occur during the school day are treated by the classroom teacher or school nurse. It is the parents' responsibility to follow up with a doctor or seek additional medical care if needed.

If an injury appears to be more serious, the school nurse will contact a parent or guardian. If they cannot be reached, the school will call the emergency contact listed on the student's enrollment form. In the event that no contact can be made and immediate medical attention is required, paramedics will transport the student to the nearest hospital. A school administrator or designee will accompany the student, while staff continue efforts to reach the parent or guardian.
