🎶🔥 On Friday, September 19th, the Aptakisic 8th Grade Band absolutely lit up the field at the Stevenson Varsity Football Game!

During halftime, our talented AJHS musicians joined the SHS Marching Patriots to perform Victory, the Stevenson fight song, in front of an enthusiastic packed crowd.

Students enjoyed a special indoor concert, fireworks, pizza, and an engaging Q&A with Stevenson’s band leaders.

Our 8th graders left excited and ready to rock the field next year as proud members of the Stevenson Marching Band! 💚💛 #EveryDayEveryStudent #D102Impact

🎉 Exciting news from AJHS! On Tuesday, community stakeholders proudly cut the ribbon to officially open our brand-new gymnasium, a community achievement made possible by the passing of the referendum and incredible support all around. This new space will have a lasting #D102Impact on our entire D102 community.

Superintendent McIntyre even shot some hoops after the event while AJHS Catalyst club members gave tours of the renovated spaces throughout the school.

A huge THANK YOU to our Board of Education, staff, students, community members, Village of Buffalo Grove, Buffalo Grove Park District, Nicholas and Associates, and Wold Architects and Engineers. Both our boys and girls played outstanding rounds in this year’s Sectional Golf Tournament ⛳️, with many achieving personal best scores 🎉.

One golfer’s two-over 74 is the second-best Sectional score in Illinois 🏆, earning a spot at next week’s State Golf Tournament. Good luck! 🍀
