Extended School Year

Extended School Year is for children with an IEP (Individualized Education Program) and serves children in Early Childhood through grade 8. The child’s IEP team must make the recommendation for ESY and write it into the child’s IEP.  The child must meet one of five criteria to be recommended for ESY. The ESY program will be housed at two different locations this year.  The Early Childhood and Guided Level Classrooms will be at Pritchett Elementary School.  For students that are currently in kindergarten through 7th grade, ESY will be housed at AJHS. All classes will be held Monday through Friday.  Free transportation is provided.
