PES - Early Childhood Movie Night A Big Success!

On April 15 the Early Childhood program held its annual movie night. Children and parents came to school at 6:30 to enjoy the movie “Cinderella”. Pizza and refreshments were served and all who participated had a wonderful time! Special thanks to the Early Childhood staff for arranging another opportunity for children and parents to spend an enjoyable evening together!

PES - First Grade Concert A Huge Hit!

We would like to thank our music teacher, Rosemary Nelson, for the fantastic first-grade music concert held on March 26! The title of the evening's performance, "We All Sing with the Same Voice" was simply amazing. Our first-grade students sang songs from around the world from Ghana to Russia. The event concluded with the children singing a very heartfelt,  "This Is My Wish" by Tim & Angela Lauer. It was a memorable experience for all who watched and participated! Thank you, Mrs. Nelson!

PES - Student Council Food Drive

Pritchett's Student Council hosted a food drive in late March for a local food pantry in Lake County. Our students named the event Feed the Hungry and appreciated all the support and generous donations from students, families, and staff. Thank you to Student Council leaders Natalie Daley and Felicia Smith for your work and guidance on this project.

PES - Third Graders on Parade!

As part of our push in GTE language arts activities, Pritchett third graders recently enjoyed the book, Miss Alaineus: Vocabulary Disaster. A lovable character, Sage was embarrassed when she had a vocabulary disaster with the word miscellaneous! She learned it was important to understand the meaning of new words!! Our third graders celebrated our growing vocabulary with a THIRD GRADE GTE VOCABULARY PARADE on Wednesday, March 25. The rest of the school enjoyed seeing our third graders led by Mrs. Connor and the third grade teachers as they paraded through each classroom proudly wearing their vocabulary posters.
