Extended School Year

An Extended School Year Program is offered for Special Education children who may show significant regression without support during the summer months. Decisions regarding attendance at the Extended School Year program are determined through the Individualized Education Plan (IEP), and are based on teacher recommendation. Extended School Year teachers work with the Special Education students on IEP goals and objectives.

If your student is not recommended for the ESY program, District 102 offers an Activity Based Summer School program. Information on our Activity Based Summer School will appear on the district website in the spring.
