Meridian hosted a book drive and collected 9,785 books for
Bernies Book Bank charity. Bernie's Book Bank is Chicagoland's collection, processing and distribution center for new or gently used children's books.
The objective is to continuously pour quality children's books into "at-risk" homes and neighborhoods, increasing book ownership. A huge thank you to Sue Melnick and Mary Jo Matousek for organizing the book drive.
