Junior High Teacher Jennifer Walsh and a group of junior high students celebrate each month of the school year with a purpose.  They research the chosen cause for the month (i.e. October - Breast Cancer Month, December - Diabetes Awareness Month), create a bulletin board for decorating with pictures and articles,

and then choose a day when the entire class (or in one case, the entire school) wear's the color that signifies the chosen cause. This month, Mrs. Walsh's class is celebrating Stay Healthy Month. On the bulletin board, students posted pictures of ways to stay healthy such as eating nutritious foods and exercising. Each student signed and pledged a way that they would 'stay healthy' this month.
