Fifteen District 102 musicians qualified to play in the November Illinois Music Educator's Association Honor's Festival. Hundreds of band and orchestra students from the northeastern Illinois area compete to qualify for this annual concert which includes both Honor Band or Honor Orchestra. This year's qualifiers are:

Sherry Bao (8th), Xuerui Fa (8th), Barton Huang (8th), Heena Kuwayama (7th), Phillip Kwon (8th), Sergey Papushin (8th), Rahul Pillai (8th), Allen Wang (8th), and Jenny Zhang (8th). Qualifying students not in the photo are 6th graders Yedam Kim, Nicole Zukowski, and Rachel Kwon.

These students will be performing at Wauconda High School on Saturday, November 6, 2010. The concert begins at 3:00pm.
