D102 Students Shine at Sectional Skating Competition

Fourteen girls from Aptakisic, Meridian, and Pritchett spend their free time skating at the Starlights Synchronized Skating Club. Not only do they train many hours a week, they compete on a national level as well. Recently, the girls performed at the Midwestern Sectional Champions where the Preliminary team earned first place.

The Juvenile team earned fifth place; the Open Juvenile team earned second place; the Intermediate team earned fourth place; the Novice team earned fourth place; and the Senior team earned first place. These last five teams are moving on to compete at Nationals.
