The Meridian Beginning Band recently presented a wonderful winter concert where they demonstrated the skills they have learned during the past two months. Songs performed included Lightly Row, Jingle Bells, Ode to Joy, Copycats and Hard Rock Blues. On Jingle Bells, several third and fourth grade students accompanied the band by playing sleigh bells. Congratulations to the beginning band members and band director Allison Rakickas on a successful first concert.
