More than 100 students and families attended this year's Reading Night at Tripp Elementary School. Many book related activities were offered such as Best New Books, Reading Games, Books in Motion, and Early Literacy Series from various genres. Some teachers hosted poetry reading where student wrote and read poems using literary props. In the library, parents read a play while the students acted out the story. Technology had its part in the evening events as well. Families and students experienced hands-on activities using the i-Pads to explore educational applications available for use in school and at home.
