District 102 raised $1,124 during Make a Difference Day festivities on Saturday, October 22. Students and their families made pillows and door knob decorations, sold books, candy and baked goods and participated in other fundraisers. The benefits will go to the children and young adults who reside at Little Angels, a loving home in Elgin for individuals with complex medical needs and significant physical and cognitive impairments.
The children and adults from Little Angels who visited Pritchett school the day of the event enjoyed the activities. Thank you to all the volunteers, and to everyone who baked, donated books and games, and made pillows and gifts. A special thank you to Nancy Connor, Adriane Zindell, and Frannie Goldwin for organizing this event.
