Jordan Sonnenblick is the author of eight children and young adult books including award winning book Drums, Girls, and Dangerous Pie.  Mr. Sonnenblick recently visited with students at Meridian and Aptakisic schools.  He was a junior high English teacher and had wanted to write a book for thirty years. An incredibly brave student inspired him to finally begin. Mr. Sonnenblick was so impressed with how this student was dealing with a sibling's cancer that he finished his first book in one summer. The students were captivated by Mr. Sonnenblick's storytelling and excited when he shared a highlight from his soon-to-be released book.
