At this year's Illinois State Science Fair, nine District 102 papers and projects received gold awards out of more than one thousand competitors. In addition, Anvesh Jalasutram's paper received the honor of being selected as one of six outstanding papers in the junior division. Rose Koerner, Cathy Berg, and Susan Brontman are to be commended for all the hard work and commitment to this science venture.
