The spring concert season was kicked off with the Jazz Cafe on April 28 and 29, and the 5th - 8th grade Band Concert showcased at Stevenson the following week.
The Jazz Cafe was a wonderful event with families bringing food to share while students entertained guests with popular jazz pieces. 

Middle school director Allison Rakickas led the Middle school students with favorites such as Louie, Louie and Joy to the World; and junior high director Tom Eifert thrilled the audience with music from artist Lady Gaga, as well as from the Harry Potter movie series. On Friday night, orchestra director Nicole Vettraino led the strings to popular songs such as Secrets, Hoedown, Groovin' for the First Time and De Blues. The following week featured the District 102 Band Concert at Stevenson High school with both middle school and junior high bands performing such songs as Smoke on the Water and Fire Flies.
